warm weather
Spring is here or so the weather is letting me think. It would not be a surprise to me if it started to snow any minute. So far the weather as been beautiful and in the high 60′s this whole week. This is my favorite time of year.
Kano loves to swim. He always gets really excited for his first swim of the year. Just like his first snow. Neela gets excited about chasing cats. I have two totally different dogs. That is why my walks are usually with Kano, he is easier to walk. I let Jesse walk Neela. Neela is still my favorite.
Kano and I walked down to the Hudson. This spot is about a 5 minute walk from our house. It feels like our own personal beach.
The water was very cold. I was tossing small rocks for him. He doesn’t actually retrieve the rocks but he fallows them.

I’ve been drawn to blacks and tans for spring. I don’t have much tan in my wardrobe but I think I need to change that. These are a few things I have pinned to my pinterest recently. I wouldn’t mind having every single one.
keep warm
yesterday
sunshine & long walks
I took some time off yesterday to go on a long walk with my sister and Kano. It was beautiful out and the sun was so warm. It would get chilly in the shade but once we walked back into the sun we were warm again. There was a lot of taking my scarf on and off. Lately I haven’t spent as much time outside as I would like to, I am working on changing that.
Soon I will have jewelry to share. I have some exciting new things in the works. There will be a sneak peek next week. It feels so good to be thinking about my own jewelry again. I truly love creating. I won’t say that it is easy and there are not struggles in the process but for the most part being a maker and working with metal is the best gift I have found. tink tink tink (that the sound of my hammer hitting the metal)
Well since I didn’t get to share the photos from yesterday before the weather changed. This is what it looks like outside today.
